TKU September Strengthens SAP, IBM, Microsoft and Veritas Discovery for License Audits

Today we release the September Tideway Knowledge Update (TKU). For those who aren’t familiar with TKUs they are monthly updates of patterns that extend and enhance Tideway’s software discovery capability.
The September release includes 20 new products and 10 enhancements taking the total to 329 software products and over 27,000 software product configurations discoverable.
The release particularly helps customers with the following:
- SAP Business Suite discovery which includes functional modules, support packs, license data and application dependencies
- IBM discovery for license audits – with patterns for 9 additional products taking the total to 74 IBM products discoverable by Tideway
- Microsoft discovery for license audits – with patterns for 4additional products taking the total to 28 Microsoft server products discoverable by Tideway
- Symantec Veritas discovery for license audits – with patterns for 3 additional products taking the total to 16 Veritas products discoverable by Tideway
