Password Expiry Warning

We seem to have found instances where users have gone from PASSWD_STATE_SHOULD_CHANGE to PASSWD_STATE_MUST_CHANGE and a locked account without any apparent visible warning being given during the 10 day notice period (90-day expiration period set).

Where and how should the warning be displayed to the users during the 10-day warning period ?

problem with the UI

I have modified the banner at the login page with the configuration page , tunning login an login page.
I’m logging out and I have this error in the login page in the UI : ( see attachment : Capture-Error – Mozilla Firefox.png )

ADDM not discovering anything

Apologies if this is answered in another thread (could not find it)

I have the following setup for demo/proof-of-concept (gotta run a demo for the management).

Win 7 ×64 running VMware Workstation 8, ADDM version 8.2.3_237378_ga_Community (Virtual Appliance).
Several Win2008 R8, 2003, Win 7(both 32 and 64), XP (32 only).
Some in a domain and some standalone.
Every firewall turned off, all running in the same subnet.
Able to ping machines from the ADDM CLI.

Still, the first/initial discovery process (following the instructions in the enclosed PDF) do not discover anything.

What am I doing wrong.

Appreciate every tip/input/advise…. :-)

EDIT:
Forgot to mention that the procedure for installing vmware tools does not work either.
The command “mount /dev/cdrom /mnt/cdrom” returns the error “you must specify the filesystem type”.

Login Problem Username/Password for Linux

Hi to all,

I am new to this product.I downloaded the vmware. But as soon as I start it is asking username/password. I tried system/system, admin/admin,tidewayroot/tidewayroot but all this failed.

Please anyone can help me.
