A frequent question is how to add new NetworkDevices to ADDM.

Whilst TPL is a fine approach to extend discovery of items that ADDM already fundamentally discovers it is not an appropriate tool to try and make ADDM discover something it doesn’t understand.

We now have the ability to deliver updated network device capability as part of the the monthly TKU as well as the normal patterns.

If you have a network device you wish to be considered for this monthly update then the best route is to contact BMC support and ask them to raise an RFE. They can also guide you how best to supply example data from the network device that we may need.
