We’re running 8.2.2 and I’m a non-programmer newbie (confession over).

I’ve been extremely impressed with our ability to use the Search tool (upper right hand side) to look for traces our Applications!  It finds all kinds of things!!!

I’ve been creating a bunch of Manual Groups for each application-related object type.  I’m patiently waiting for a future release that will allow us to combine these into 1 Manual Group (yes, I’m working through the pre-release process).  I’m also waiting for my staff to become available/trained to create patterns instead.  This would remove the manual admin burden (including keeping stuff current - ADDM’s strength).

Could a future release combine the goodness of the Search tool, an all-encompassing Manual Group, and the power of the GUI, so that a non-programmer could model an Application and have it generate a TPL pattern?

I told you… crazy!

You need to ask to be put in touch with the ADDM Product Manager as they look after the pre-release programme.
