Some of you may have seen a couple of dubious email notifications from the forum this morning. This was down to a short visit by a spammer, who created two accounts and posted two messages using text copied from elsewhere in the threads they were replying to.

These accounts were quickly banned and the posts deleted, but the notification emails will already have gone out to anybody who was subscribed to the threads in question.

Should you see any more such spam, please inform us of the offending posts by clicking on the “report” link included in each forum post. You’ll need to be logged in to be able to do this.
