I am struggling at the moment with something I hope you can help me with.
We have ADDM 8.3
We would like to use the attachment-functionality for saving documents for server. It is ok, if everybody in ADDM can read the documents but the management (Saving and deletion) of the documents should be restricted.
I have played with the rights in ADDM and even with the read-only-group without any write permissions, that user could delete and attach documents. While attaching the document, the notification came: “Permission Denied You do not have permission to access this system. Please contact your System Administrator.” But the document was still attached.
Also in the tw_svc_security.log with debug-level I couldn’t figure out, how I could deny the user attaching and deleting attachments.
Is there a specific permission that manages this or how can I prefent user from deleting documents?
