Since February, we have been working on a cool new Foundation release focused on making it easy to use Foundation for gathering information about an unknown estate very quickly. If you have followed the process, you may already have tried many of the new and enhanced functionality in one of our pre-releases – but today I am pleased to to say that the new version has been made Generally Available.

This means that the free Community Edition has been upgraded to the new version 7.3 and that all customers on maintenance can get the new release either as a complete product or as an upgrade – just ask Support and they will make it happen.

The new release has a lot of new functionality across the product; if you have been using an earlier release, I think you will be pleasantly surprised by how many areas have been improved, streamlined or beefed up to make it really easy to do something that actually is quite hard.

We look forward to hearing about your experiences with the new release and to talk to you about how it can get even better – we are hugely interested in YOUR thoughts and experiences. In the meantime, we will start working on the next release and you can expect to see a new pre-release shortly to showcase the next set of capabilies.
