I’d like to request the addition of a feature allowing users to add comments to a node (host, application, etc.), or a minimum make the description field editable from within the interface. This would appease a lot of my users and reduce the number of folks exporting data into spreadsheets just so they can attach their own comments and textual information.

I’d like to bump this to add on another request for a feature like this.  A simple “Comments” section on nodes would certainly be valuable.
