Lifecycle Management enables you to understand change in your IT environment and note changes for collaboration.

Lifecycle Management provides a means for users to:

  • Identify and understand change in their environment within a specified scope and for certain kinds of change
  • Validate Tideway Foundation's discovery of that environment
    Lifecycle Management allows users to quickly understand changes, specifically lifecycle changes, to entities in their environment.
  • Collaborate with others who are involved with maintaining the environment.

Lifecycle Management allows a user to define what they are interested through the creation of a view. The contents of a view are either dependencies (a chain of configuration items related to each other) or individual configuration items which match the criteria for that view.
