The Tideway Foundation appliance requires little day-to-day maintenance. A maintenance mode is provided which is a mode where only system users can login to perform tasks such as rebooting or shutting down the appliance. In this maintenance mode, you can also take appliance snapshots, and configure the way the system is monitored and audited. For an introduction to maintenance mode, see Maintenance Mode. For information on rebooting or shutting down the appliance from the UI, see Rebooting or Shutting Down the Appliance. For information on configuring and using the appliance snapshot feature, see Using Appliance Snapshot. For details on configuring the appliance status, see Baseline Configuration.
