Viewing Other Dashboards

You can view any of the dashboards configured on your appliance using the dashboard drop-down panel. This is available on your home page in the dynamic toolbox on the right hand side of the screen and is shown in the figure below.

Adding and Removing Sections

To add new sections to an editable dashboard, click the Edit link in the main page title. This reveals a section selector panel which is shown in the figure below.

You can rename the dashboard using the Dashboard Title field. This renames the existing dashboard rather than saving a copy under a new name. Click the Commit button to change the name.

Select or deselect a section to add it to or remove it from the dashboard. The changes that you make are made immediately and are available to all other users.

Adding a New Dashboard

To add a new dashboard, select the Copy current Dashboard... link from the Dashboard drop-down panel. A new dashboard is created and saved with the name Copy of dashboard. You can now add or remove sections and rename it suitably.

The new dashboard is available to all other users.

Channels on Reports Pages
You can include any of the other channels on the report page in a dashboard. For example, you could add a few favorite reports to your dashboard. See Reporting Basics for a list of reports that can be added.

Saving Changes to Dashboards

Changes you make to the layout or content of a dashboard are saved as you make them and are available to all users. The dashboard that you are viewing is saved in your session and is displayed when you next login.
