The Host Profile is a PDF report on a host or hosts, providing a summary of information that useful for baselining. You can:

• You can view a Host Profile for a single host. This is available from the host page.
• You can view a Host Profile for a selection of hosts or all hosts, from the host list page.
• View existing Host Profiles that have been generated by you or other users of the appliance.

Host Profile – Single Host

To create a Host Profile for a single host:

1. Click the Hosts link in the Infrastructure Summary section of the Infrastructure page.
   The Host list page is displayed.
2. Select a host from the list.
3. From the Actions drop down menu, click Create Host Profiles to generate and download the Host Profile for the host.

Host Profile – Selected Hosts or All Hosts

To create a Host Profile for the selected hosts or all hosts:

1. Click the Hosts link in the Infrastructure Summary section of the Infrastructure page.
   The Hosts List page is displayed.
2. Choose the hosts that you want to report on using the selection check boxes.
3. If you want a Host Profile on all hosts, click the select all checkbox.
4. From the Actions drop down menu, click Create Host Profiles to generate and download the Host Profile for the host.
   
   

To View Existing Host Profiles

To view existing Host Profiles:

1. Click the Reports Tab.
2. Click the PDF Report button on the Dynamic Secondary Navigation bar.
   
   
   The PDF Reports page is displayed.
   
   
   The PDF Reports page shows a list of Host Profiles reports that have been created. For each report it shows:
   • Report Type – this is currently Host Profile.
   • Hosts – the number of hosts in the report.
   • Submission Time – the time the report request was submitted.
   • User – the user who created the request.
   • Status – this may be Pending, Complete, or Cancelled.
   • Actions
     • Download – click this link to download a report.
     • Delete – click this link to delete a report.
