Lifecycle Management

Lifecycle Management is a feature of Tideway Foundation that allows you to understand change. Lifecycle Management provides a means for users to:

Identify and understand change in their environment within a specified scope and for certain kinds of change
Validate Tideway Foundation's discovery of that environment

Lifecycle Management contains the following sections:

Introduction to Lifecycle Management – provides an introduction to Lifecycle Management.
Administration of Lifecycle Management – describes the permissions required to use Lifecycle Management.
Key Lifecycle Management Concepts – describes dependencies and views.
View Management – describes how to manage views.
Using Lifecycle Management – describes the way that you use views to operate Lifecycle Management.
Item Notes – describes how to use notes to annotate views.
Root Cause Analysis – describes how Lifecycle Management can assist in the investigation and remediation of the causes of alerts on items.
View Types – details the node kinds and relationships that Lifecycle Management uses to build and maintain items according to its view types.
