The Default Data Model

The Default Data Model diagram shows the BMC Atrium Discovery default shipping model including the main sections of the model. The diagram should be useful if you are building searches and using the model to understand it. The aim of the diagram is to be a quick reference to compliment the detail recorded in this document.

It does not represent the entire BMC Atrium Discovery data model and therefore does not show all the nodes, attributes or relationships.

Further details of the data model can be found in the BMC Atrium Discovery taxonomy. To view the taxonomy, click the View Taxonomy icon on the Administration page of the BMC Atrium Discovery UI. A link to the current, full-size version of the diagram below is also available at the top of the Taxonomy page in the UI.

The diagram below shows the BMC Atrium Discovery Default Data Model with its different nodes, attributes and relationships between the different parts of BMC Atrium Discovery:

Color-Code Key

  • Inferred View Nodes and connection links – Blue.
  • Directly Discovered Data Nodes and connection links – Green.
  • Knowledge (Pattern Management) View Nodes and connection links – Pink.
  • Provenance Relationships – Red connection links.
  • Brown Nodes and connection links – Auxiliary relationships (used internally by BMC Atrium Discovery).
