In TKU July 2009 we added two new simple identifiers which will detect the AlarmPoint Web Server service and java process running on the Windows platform. In addition, we added a new pattern to create a Software Instance for the AlarmPoint Web Server running on the Windows platform.
The existing Server pattern had 'AlarmPoint' removed from its Windows trigger. A Server SI is now only created for the Windows platform if either package versioning is successful or 'AlarmPoint' is in the trigger process' path. Like the new WebServer pattern's communication link to the AlarmPoint Server Software Instance, the existing Server pattern was enhanced to create a peer-to-peer communication link to the AlarmPoint Web Server if running on the same Windows host.
