Product Description

IBM Tivoli Integrated Portal (TIP) is the application that facilitates other hosted IBM Tivoli products which are configured or contained in its environment. Authentication and authorization of multiple web applications within that Tivoli Integrated Portal environment is handled by TIP. Besides this TIP also provides consolidated user management and a single point of access for different applications. The Tivoli Integrated Portal also provides the ability to create customized pages and administer access to content by user, role, or group. Tivoli Integrated Portal is deployed automatically with the first Tivoli Integrated Portal-enabled product later more TIP based product can be configured to this TIP environment. Using TIP, users can get information on managed enterprise with different aspects like aggregated views of server instances.
